This device allows water to drain from the valve upon shut-off, thus protecting the fixture and pipes from freezing and damage. The 3/4" NH female thread is compatible with the majority of frost-proof wall hydrants and sillcocks that feature 3/4" NH threads. The Geann VB300 Brass Self-Draining Vacuum Breaker is designed for outdoor sillcocks to prevent unclean water from backflowing into potable drinking water supplies and protecting the sillcock from freezing damage. It meets the NSF61, ASSE1011, and NSF372 standards and is suitable for portable and drinking water applications.
